A multi-sectoral action on the climate crisis was organized by Kalikasan, BAYAN, the Philippine Climate Watch Alliance from 9am to 12nn in December 7, 2009. The march started from Plaza Salamangka (cor. TM Kalaw - Taft Ave.) to UN Ave. cor. Roxas Blvd. fronting the US Embassy. Speakers were Ganni Tapang of AGHAM, Ka Roger Soluta of KMU, Rita Baua of BAYAN, and representatives from the League of Filipino Students, KATRIBU; Gabriela member Gloria Odiaz delivered a poem versus the US as the number one polluter and the one primarily responsible for climate change.
